So given my name I think it is obvious where I line up on the issue, but some things have recently come to my attention regarding this topic. I was recently in a discussion with a friend about guns. I am an avid shooter and he has brought 2 particular things to my eyes. "Bowling For Columbine" was supposed to open my eyes and so was a study about concealed carry in the classroom done by ABC. I do not know the forum rules, but I can link the youtube video of the abc study.

I decided to watch the video rather than do my usual and just ignore Michael Moore, as he is the run of the mills propagandist. I was displeased with MANY problems in how things were presented. I watched the 20/20 documentary and being a Concealed Carry holder myself I noticed MANY issues with the experiment as well. But something DID come to my mind regarding the anti-gun political activists out there in Hollywood and in the government.

Is everyone aware that Michael Moore has armed security? I find this disturbing. Why is he allowed to have armed defense and I am not? I have proven my safety record. His bodyguard cannot follow simple state laws. Another mouthpiece is of course Rosie O'donell. She ALSO hires armed security. Does everyone know who Charles Schummer is? I just want to make it known that he has an armed body guard as well. Something is rotten in Denmark(err United States). Why is it that these people can hire someone to carry a gun for them? I cannot afford a bodyguard, but I CAN afford my 9mm and the 2K rounds I have run through it in practice, plus the time I have spent drilling, cleaning, and just general perfection of my self defense regimen. Does it make sense to anyone else that they deserve armed escort and we do not? This is food for thought.

On another note it has been proven that police have a higher error rate in regards to shootings. They shoot less criminals with a higher error rate than "we the people." I am not trying to sound like a conspiracy nut who says the government is trying to take away all of our power, but I call shenanigans on all of this bias material regarding my personal protection. I would rather my protection be in my own hands than at the Donut Shop.
