Power outage delays Steelers, 49ers
ANTONIO GONZALEZ (The Associated Press)  06:28:13AM(ET) Tuesday,December 20,2011. SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — The game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and San Francisco 49ers has been delayed twice because of a pair of power outages at Candlestick Park. The first outage Monday night pushed back the opening kickoff by 20 minutes. The second delay came early in the second quarter and halted the game for about 15 minutes. The lights are back on at Candlestick Park and the game has resumed. The 49ers lead the Steelers 6-0 in a matchup of first-place teams. ----------------------------------------------------------------  San Francisco prevails with a 20-3 win. The blackouts was a bad omen for the Steelers as they once again failed to capitalize after Sunday's Raven's loss...  I didn't see the game but what I heard from a few friends the game was zzzz. So why not turn the lights out and sleep ? Rest assure this year's Super Bowl will not have the Steelers as participants.
