Michael Vick 'likely' to play, report says

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick, who has left the past two games with separate injuries, is likely to play in Sunday's home game against the San Francisco 49ers, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer.

Citing team sources, the Inquirer reported that Vick's availability will depend on whether the swelling goes down on his badly bruised right hand, his non-throwing hand. If doctors clear Vick, he will play against San Francisco.

Vick left Sept. 25's loss to the New York Giants with what originally was thought to be a broken right hand. A CT scan on Monday revealed that he had a bruise.
