Stern stymied Chris Paul trade
by David Whitley AOL FanHouse Columnist
(SportingNews)

03:49:22PM (ET) Friday,December 9,2011.

ORLANDO, Fla.—The roadblocks keeping Dwight Howard in town have not been set up yet. Police apparently didn’t get the memo from NBA headquarters.

Since Chris Paul can’t go to the Lakers, Howard cannot go the New Jersey Nets.

According to the new Gilbert Rule, no free agent can leave for a larger market. It seems preposterous, but that’s the precedent that was established Thursday night.

Now that Stern stymied Chris Paul trade, he'll have to do the same with Howard - NBA - Sporting News

Tough sorting all of this out, speaking for myself.
Hope Dwight gets what he wants...
