LeBron James and Nike Introduce New Christmas Day Sneaker

With Christmas Day right around the corner, Nike has introduced the basketball sneaker that will be worn by LeBron James on Christmas Day when the Miami Heat take on the Los Angeles Lakers.



James' new shoe will be called the Nike LeBron 8 V.2 "Run on Red." This will be the second sneaker that LeBron debuts this season, with more expected to come.

The "Run On Red" Christmas Day edition has been designed to be leaner and lighter. The entire upper part of the shoe is made of Flywire and mesh technology, which makes the shoe one ounce lighter than the original LeBron 8 that James has been wearing so far this season.

The LeBron 8 V.2 Christmas Day shoe, made by Nike, will be on sale at retail stores and online shops beginning on December 26. It has been announced that this unique new sneaker will be sold at retail for $160.00.

Additional colors for this shoe are expected to be launched by mid-January.

Both Kevin Durant and Kobe Bryant will also be introducing new sneakers of their own on Christmas Day.
