Lil Wayne Banned From Vegas Hotel and Other Unwelcome Stars

Lil Wayne Banned From the Wynn and Other Unwelcome StarsWhat happens in Vegas stays in Vegas -- unless you're Lil Wayne, that is.

The rapper, who was recently released after an 8-month stint in Rikers Island, found out that he was banned from the Wynn Hotel -- the destination for a post-performance party -- because the hotel didn't want Wayne to get in trouble on the premises.

TMZ reports that after a set with Weezy at the Hard Rock Hotel, fellow Young Money member Drake was informed that Wayne, who is prohibited from consuming alcohol for the next 3 years, wasn't welcome at the Wynn. Wayne took the party elsewhere, opting to hang out at the Palms instead.

Wayne isn't the only celeb who's not welcome at the swanky hotel -- Paris Hilton was banned from the Wynn in September, following her arrest. Check out our list of other banned celebs after the jump!

Sir Elton John - Egypt won't be getting their 'Crocodile Rock' fix any time soon, thanks to a country-wide ban keeping the singer from performing in the African nation. The ban came as a response to John's claim that Jesus was gay. The New York Post reports that Mounir al Wasimi, head of Egypt's Musician Union, banned the singer from performing, saying, "How do we allow a gay, who wants to ban religions, claimed that the prophet Eissa (Jesus) was gay and calls for Middle Eastern countries to allow gays to have sexual freedom."

Jonathan Rhys Meyers - the 'Tudors' star was banned from flying on United Airlines after he allegedly became drunk and belligerent aboard one of their planes.


Chris Brown - Violence toward women (or anyone, for that matter) is generally looked down upon, a fact Chris Brown knows all too well. After reports of Chris Brown's attack on then-girlfriend Rihanna became public, British authorities decided they'd heard enough and banned the singer from setting foot in the U.K.


Akon - Australia's Rod Laver Arena has banned Akon from performing after the singer jumped into the audience to break up a fight at the Arena's sister venue.
